Former heavyweight champion Frank Mir became the first person to finish Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and also is the only fighter to submit the BJJ expert.
In doing so at UFC 140, Mir also snapped Nogueira’s arm:

Mir effectively made his case to be considered in the heavyweight championship title mix — and is willing to step in for Alistair Overeem if the Dutch fighter is unable to face Brock Lesnar later this month.
