Following his win against Chael Sonnen, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva spoke about his vicious knee to Sonnen’s sternum, his feelings about the American Gangster, and his emotions following the fight.
Round one closely mimicked the first fight, with Sonnen able to quickly put Silva on his back to help set up some ground and pound. The Team Quest wrestler ended the round in full mount, but couldn’t land any major damage.
In the second round, Sonnen threw a spinning elbow and ended up on his backside. Silva landed a brutal knee and used ground and pound to finish the fight via TKO.
