Light heavyweight James Te Huna picked up a solid win against Joey Beltran at UFC on Fuel TV 4 earlier this week.
The New Zealander earned a solid unanimous decision win against Beltran, and was able to rock his opponent several times throughout the three-round, 15-minute fight.
Amazingly, Te Huna was able to completely control Beltran over three rounds, despite having one broken hand and a broken foot.
Here is what Te Huna had to say during the post-fight press conference:
“Broken hand, broken foot — I ain’t gonna do much with that, but I thought I hit him pretty well. I thought I did well for three rounds with what I had. I was surprised. I hit him with some of my biggest shots… I lined them up and threw them as hard as I could. I tried to stay on his tail and put pressure [on him], but I couldn’t get him down.”
Also, here is a brief video interview:
Besides a submission loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 127, Te Huna has picked up four wins in the UFC octagon.
